Money making opportunities are everywhere. Just open up any newspaper. Forex gurus will teach you how to make $10k a month. Stock gurus will teach you how to make money regardless of a bull or bear market. Internet Marketing geniuses will teach you how to generate a passive income.
I cannot say for the first 2 cases. Maybe they are genuinely interested in helping more Singaporeans to become millionaires or billionaires after becoming one themselves.
But I do know that teaching people "how to make money" is easier than doing it yourself.
Imagine a weekend course where the guru told people who have absolutely no idea of Internet Marketing (or never did any research themselves, or who have never succeeded) and just make a claim that he is making money from Internet Marketing by showing them his Adsense account versus him staying at home to work on his websites himself, he probably earned more in the weekend than all his time spent on his websites. Some questions that you should think about:
Do you think he will share everything he knows with you?
How does he ensure that you will be successful after the course? (He has already collected $$$ from you)
Will you set up your first website and try out?
How does he ensure that you are motivated?
The Adsense Guild is probably superior.
It is a place for doers. You get the Adsense Recipe that tells you what you need to do exactly every week, continuously for 52 weeks.
It charges monthly and you can get out anytime you think it is not suitable for you.
It has a support forum where you can post your queries, doubts or share your successes.
A Good Opportunity does not come often. I managed to get in when it is offering a $250 lifetime membership. Took only a week for me to decide to risk my $250.
Incidentally, after I have seen some successes of my own, and told some people about it, they actually told me they are too busy right now and will get into it at the end of the year.
Inflation is making everyone's purchasing power smaller. Unless you are earning faster than what you are earning 6 months ago, I would recommend an alternative source of income. Once built, it requires low maintenance and continually rolls in income week after week with little effort.
